7 Days Gorilla Circuit Rwanda

The trip largely focuses on the Northern route in Rwanda with the focal motivation to trek mountain gorillas. Day 1: arrival in Rwanda

Arrive at Kigali international airport, receive your car rental/be picked up by our representatives. Depending on your time of arrival take a Kigali city tour, after drive to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: trek gorilla

Today early morning drive to the trekking starting point for the briefing on trekking etiquette. Then enroll into the forest undulating forest to trek the endangered mountain gorillas, the trekking can last for about 30minutes to 8 hours depending on how deep the trekked family has moved into the forest. Encountering these gentle giants you have an hour in their presence marking a lifetime memorable experience. Take rest of the days resting.

Day 3: tracking golden monkeys


Today you’re to trek the endangered golden monkeys which sometimes live alongside the silverback. It’s a nature rewarding track watching huge communities of golden monkeys of the Volcanoes National Parks as well as watching severe numbers of bird species. Evening hour take a nature walk and visit Diana Fossey Museum.

Day 4 & 5: Mt. Sabinyo summit hiking

This spend the two hiking to the summit of Mt. Karisimbi (4507m) the highest peak of the Virungas, on this trek take a package of warm cloth, packed food and a camping tent with the sleeping bag.

Day 6: Cultural encounters

Spend this day taking a cultural tour to Nkotsi village, activities to undertake learning how to brew banana beers, basket weaving demonstration, bee keeping, village walks, drumming and how to prepare to traditional medicine.

Drive to Gisenyi for a day relaxation.

Day 7: Lake Kivu and return to Kigali

This day following your breakfast, drive southwards to Gisenyi popular destination for affluent Rwandans, reach and take a b oat ride at Lake Kivu. Drive back to Kigali for the outbound flight.
